On social networking site Facebook, liking something is common place. An alternative use of this data is where companies use this interaction to gain information about clients or customers. Individuals may use it to enhance self-esteem and indeed gain praise or approval. The Like Book contemplates on how much 'Like' can, or cannot say about an online user and shows the frequency with which we are bombarded with this phrase online.
